A fantastic sauce or glaze for your seafood, Meats and tofu and even grilled vegetables.
Our African mango balsamic glazing sauce is exceptional on pork chops, fish, shrimp or steamed vegetables.
Ingredient for the African Mango balsamic glazed Salmon or Halibut with Afro Fusion Cuisine Mango Chutney
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons of AFRO FUSION CUISINE MANGO CHUTNEY
1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon minced herbs (parsley, cilantro,chives or basil)
1 tsp of Afro Fusion Cuisine all purpose seasoning
salmon fillet, (about 6 inches long)
a pinch of Salt and 1 tbs of Afro Fusion all Purpose or Jerk Seasoning
Vegetable oil for searing the fish
1. Cooking the salmon
Season salmon with salt and pepper. Heat a large frying pan with vegetable oil over high heat. When hot, add the salmon steaks. Cook for 2 minutes on each side. Turn heat to medium-low, then cover pan loosely with foil. Cook for 5minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through. Remove salmon to plate.
2. MAKING THE GLAZE
Add the African Mango balsamic glaze with Afro Fusion Cuisine Mango Chutney ingredients to the same pan on medium-low heat. Cook until bubbly and butter is melted, about 30 seconds.
3. Assembling/Finishing the dish
Pour the glaze on top of the salmon and serve
